Children’s Service & Other Organisations

Drawing and Talking offers training to Local Education Authorities, Schools as INSET, and other organisations who work with children.

Children’s Services – LEA’s

Drawing and Talking has worked with a number of Education Authorities across the country to offer CPD opportunities to their staff. We work with SEAL, TaMHS project coordinators, CPD coordinators for Learning Mentor and Teaching Assistance, Cluster Managers, ELSAs, Educational Psychologist, Mental Health Teachers, CAHMS thus enabling more children to have access to intervention.

School INSET

An inspiring day that will leave all staff able to indentify children who may be able to benefit from Drawing and Talking. Sometimes a whole school can be affected by a loss or tragedy of some kind and we often do not have the resources to be able to deal quickly and effectively in these situations. Drawing and Talking Therapy provides your school with an intervention that is a ‘Proactive’ rather than ‘Reactive’ technique to use with your children.

Other Organisations

Anyone working with traumatized children or those who have emotional and behavioural differculties can use the Drawing and Talking Technique. The technique is non intrusive so proves to be very effective with children who may be feel challenged by people in Authority. Previous participants have come from Youth Offending Teams, Social Services, Fostering and Adoption agencies. We have worked with participants from an number of charities including, Banardos, Home School Support, Women’s refuge. Training to any of the above as INSET is offered at a discounted rate. Please contact Drawing and Talking directly for more information.
